2025 Conference
The 2025 Battery and Energy Storage Conference for Africa (BEASFA.COM), hosted by Dr. Jan Swart was a huge success. With speakers:

- Kaloyan Dimov, CEO, Solar MD,
…delivering captivating and insightful presentations. The keynote speaker, Brian Engle definitely set the stage for this conference and Gerhard Swart showed us that South Africa could have been an electric vehicle leader, preceding another South African, Elon Musk and TESLA but Nechan Naicker (RSA), Founder & CEO, The Megamillion Energy showed us not all is lost! The success of this event prompted the 2026 conference, and we hope we can expand to include an exhibition area show casing local companies and technology in the Lithium-ion battery world of South Africa and Africa.
